Adjust Your Focus Pointers

With a live image displayed, you can scroll your trackball up and down and move the focus pointers on the left side of the image to point at your region of interest.

You also have a Focus button over on the left side of the console (just above the Print button). Pressing this button changes the number of focus pointers displayed. You’ll probably want two. That should cover most of the anatomical features you are focusing on.

The main thing here is to simply remember to roll the trackball up or down to position the pointers where you want them, essentially telling the ultrasound what part of the image you want it to enhance the most.
