After two weekends and four 12-hour days, I just about have everything migrated over and the links all checked. It is difficult not to edit some of the material as I go, and that has slowed things down a little bit, but it should also make for a better experience once the site is opened up to everyone.
Next steps include getting at least some of the core video material posted, recording and posting a handful of new screencasts, and fleshing out two critical sections that should prove quite popular.
At that point we should be ready to go live. And I’m hoping to see that happen in the next week to ten days. At that point invitations will go out to all of our existing clients, with links to the sign-up page so they can create accounts and begin taking advantage of the site.
After that, over the course of the next several months, I will be working to fill in the gaps in the material, shooting and editing more material for the Applications section of the site, and posting annotated images with accompanying commentary from some of our most talented doctors. I also intend to enlist the services of a professional sonographer in order to really ramp up the arsenal of training videos.
Get ready to see some exciting developments. And if you are already a client of Fisher Biomedical, keep an eye out for your invitation … You should be seeing it very soon now.
